Position - Senior Developer - CDS

Core Java, J2EE, Multithreading, XML, TIBCO, WebLogic

Main Function

Sales pricing and trade capture team is responsible for design, develop and maintain the trade capture, pricing and analytics applications for Fixed Income Sales. The development environment is core Java, J2EE, multithreading with WebLogic, TIB and SQL server. There are several projects currently in progress for Credit Derivatives businesses. Frank Dodd derivative reform is requiring several changes in the derivatives trading, pricing and reporting. There are three major projects on horizon 1) Trace Reporting 2). Client Clearing and 3) SEF (Swap Execution Facility) level trading. The contractor will primarily be working on these projects.

Person Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience in design, development and performance tuning of enterprise wide applications in core Java, J2EE environment and WebLogic environment is essential. Experience in building multi threaded applications preferably in TIBCO EMS.

Required: Core Java, J2EE, Multithreading, XML, TIBCO, WebLogic, Unix/Linux, relational database ( Sql Server), Eclipse . Experience in building financial/trading applications preferably Derivatives trading. Good communications skills and ability to work in fast paced environment.

Good to have: Frameworks (Hibernate/Spring), caching frameworks (Memcached, EhCache …), knowledge of Fixed Income, Credit derivatives pricing and analytics, Dodd Frank regulatory requirements like PET reporting, SEF trading. E-Trading platforms like TradeWeb, Oasys, Client clearing

Main Duties

Must have extensive experience as Production support SQL Server Database Administrator

•Must have experience with high availability (MS Cluster Service) - SQL 2005, 2008. SQL 2012 is a plus

•Must exhibit very indepth expertise in solving database contention problems (dead locks, blocking etc)

•Demonstrate extensive expertise in performance tuning including both query and server optimization

Must Haves:
6+ years in the area of Testing
3+ years in the role of Test Lead
Prior experience leading system test efforts
Experience in SAP testing is highly preferred but not mandatory

D2D:
Responsible for daily test leadership for all cycles of testing in implementation of SAP BPC. Coordination between project team and business customers in creation of test scripts according to standards, use of standard test tools, defect tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities include test planning, test execution, post implementation, leadership, and professional communication. The goal of the SAP Test Lead is to verify that the system under test meets project requirements by coordinating testing on the system after initial development has been completed (System Testing and User Acceptance Testing). The SAP Test Lead manages the test effort and is the overall owner of the test effort. At a high level the SAP Test Lead does the following on projects:
Works with the QA Manager to define project-specific test processes
Estimates and plans the system test effort
Ensures the creation of test documentation and assets
Manages/coordinates the execution of the test effort
Reports on test status and raises test-related risks
