Need ETL Developer with ODI Experience

Role Description

 

o Technical Lead responsible for understanding business requirements, and converting them to designs, working with offshore team, reviews, technical work etc. that align to Nielsen's Technology Standards

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

o Provides technical expertise utilizing a hands-on approach to his team

o Develops proof of concepts for business requirements.

o Translates business requirements into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions

o Ensures all designs are appropriately documented based on SDLC

o Working on ODI loads, queries, fine tuning jobs etc.

 

Skills Profile

 

 6+ years overall IT experience including 4 years of strong progressive IT experience in the application development space.

 Candidates should have solid working knowledge around the following competencies:

o Expertise with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)

o Knowledge and experience in ETL architecture

o Understanding of Event Driven Architecture

o Should have working knowledge of the following tools and technologies

 Netezza Appliance

 ELT (ODI)

 SQL Queries and Query tools

 Understanding of the link between business needs and application technology

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

 Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
