ORACLE EXADATA ARCHITECT
Location: PHILADELPHIA, PA
Duration: 6+ Months
Oracle Exadata experience is a must
Oracle Financials is highly preferred
The job holder will design, implement, and support logical ndatabase management structures, as well as database recovery, back-up, security, archiving and conversion strategies. S/he focuses on enhancing database performance through proactive monitoring, reporting and tuning and provides technical assistance and mentoring to various staff. S/he also collaborates with application development teams on various database issues and takes a lead role in problem resolution.
Minimum 6 - 8 years experience required. Job holder must have previously implemented strategies for database architecture and consulted on migrating, integrating and selecting platforms for a variety of wide-impact applications. S/he must have expertise in the major functions of relational database platforms and the design, development and maintenance of relational databases that manage object data including multiple Object-Relational Database Management System technologies, platforms and products. Must also have significant experience with designing and integrating complex, heterogeneous databases. Job holder must be knowledgeable in performance considerations for complex, distributed environments and aware of industry benchmarks for multiple technology environments.
