UNIX Admin

Location: St. Paul, MN

Start: ASAP

Type: 3 months +

 

Primary Skills:

 

·                Linux administration

·                Experience working in VMware, Oracle cluster and SAN environment

·                1-2 years Technical Support, showing strong analytical skills

·                3-6 years of HP UX Operating System support

·                3-6 years of Linux (Redhat preferred) Operating System support

·                Participation on cross-functional teams

·                Strong troubleshooting skills, fault isolation and resolution.

·                3-6 years of systems support/troubleshooting experience

·                Clustering (GFS/Oracle Rac)

·                SAN Infrastructure–EVA/NetApp/EMC

·                VMWare

·                HP Data Protector Knowledge

·                Scripting knowledge (Shell and Perl preferred)

·                HP and Dell hardware experience

·                HP Blades

·                Remedy application and processes

·                McAfee

·                SAP experience a plus

·         Education/certification:

·                Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·                HP Hardware Certification

·                HP Blade Certification

Secondary knowledge: (Preferred)

 

·                Experience working in HP-UX environment
